Bio

High School: Koi Ursin attended Destrehan High School, where she played basketball under Head Coach Twalla Powell. Her Wildcats team was the 2025 district champion. Koi was named to the All-Star Team in 2025 and earned the titles of District MVP in 2024 and 2025. She was selected for the First Team All-District in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as being recognized on the All-State and All-Metro Teams in 2025. In addition to basketball, she also played volleyball for the Wildcats and graduated with honors, earning a cum laude distinction. Koi is a member of the Wildcats' 1,000 Point Club.

Personal: Koi is from Kenner, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Corey Ursin and Latrenda Williams and has one brother named Kiren. While attending BRCC, she is majoring in General Science with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. Her favorite athletes are Stephen Curry and Angel Reese, and she supports the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Sky as her favorite professional teams. Her favorite food is pasta, and she enjoys Gushers as a snack. Koi dreams of visiting Dubai one day. The person she admires most is her mother, who has provided her with unwavering support and guidance.
