Bio

2020-2021: Alanna played and started all 19 games last season for the Lady Bears as the point guard. Alanna was a leader on and off the floor. She scored 223 points with 74 rebounds, 70 assist, and 58 steals. Alanna is 10^th in career steals with 58 and those 58 steals last season ties her for 4^th in single season steals.

High School: Alanna “Lanna” Donaldson attended Chalmette High School and played basketball for Coach Shondra Johnson. Her owls’ team were undefeated district champs her junior and senior years. She was named District MVP her junior and senior seasons and was named to the All District First team her freshman and sophomore season. Alanna also played volleyball, softball and threw the javelin and high jumped for Chalmette.

Personal: Hometown is New Orleans, LA. She is the daughter of Gregory Donaldson and Lakisha Winley. Lanna has two brothers Gregory and Graelin. BRCC major is Kinesiology. She would like to become an Athletic Trainer. Her favorite athlete is Lebron James, and her favorite movie is Love and Basketball. The people she admires the most are her parents because they can conquer everything. Her favorite snack is Oreo Thins, and her favorite app is Twitter. Her dream vacation is to go to Bora Bora.
