Bio

2024-2025: Jevion Sam played for and attended Louisiana Knights Prep School.

High School: He attended St. Martinville Senior High, where he played basketball under Head Coach Ihmaru Jines. His team, the Tigers, won three consecutive District Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In 2023, he was named the MVP of the Lafayette All-Star Game and was selected for the First Team All District.

Personal: Jevion, commonly known as Von, is from St. Martinville, Louisiana. He is the son of Dwight Sam Sr. and Christine Cormier, and he has one older brother, Dwight Sam Jr. While studying at BRCC, he is majoring in Construction Management and aspires to become a professional basketball player. His favorite athlete is Kevin Durant, and he supports the Golden State Warriors as his favorite professional team. He enjoys pasta as his favorite food and Skittles as his favorite snack. One of his dreams is to visit the Bahamas. He admires Kevin Durant and hopes to model his playing style after him.
