Bio
High school: Vandryua Wilson attended Ville Platte high school, where she played basketball for head coach Rhonda Thomas. Vandryua also ran Cross Country and Track for her Bulldogs team. Vandryua was named Parish Basketball MVP in 2022-23, 1st Team All Parish in 2022-23, 1st Team All district in 2021-2023 seasons, District MVP in 2022-23, 6th man of the Parish in 2018-19 and All District Honorable Mention basketball team in 2018-19.
Personal: Hometown is Ville Platte, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Vandrecus Wilson and Ashley Ben. She has one sister Parentise and five brothers Tavion, Jakaveion, Malik, Jalyn, and Vandrecus Jr. and one step brother, Trent. BRCC major is Child Development and she wants to work with children. Her favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant and her favorite sports team is the Golden State Warriors. Her favorite movie is Love and Basketball and her favorite snack is Purple Skittles. The person she admires the most is her mother because of all she has been through and she continues to make a better life for her children.
