Bio

2019-2020: Amani was a key contributor off the bench last season for the Lady Bears. She played in 25 games and started 2. Amani scored 70 points (25-73 from the field and 20-30 from the free throw line.) She grabbed 77 rebounds, with 7 steals and 5 assists.

High School: Amani “Mani” Barrow attended David Thibodaux Stem Magnet and played basketball for Head Coach Kaitlyn Peckmore. Amani received the following honors while playing for the Bulldogs, she was named to the All-State Honorable Mention team, First team All-District, MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. She was also named to the All-Tournament Team in the Ville Plate tournament. Mani also ran track for the Bulldogs.

Personal: Hometown is Baton Rouge, La. She is the daughter of David Barrow and Kimberly Charles. Amani has two sisters, Amiri and Amiracle and one brother, Gabriel. BRCC major is Physical Therapy. She would one day like to become an occupational therapist. Her favorite athlete is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Her favorite food is spaghetti, and her favorite movie is the Friday. The people she admires is her parents because they want the best for me. Her favorite snack is honey buns, and her favorite app is Instagram.
