2022-2023: Corey attended LSU Eunice where he played in 22 games and started 1. He scored  a total of 76 points, had 60 rebounds, 18 assists, 9 steals and 1 block. He was a member of the 2022-23 LCCAC Conference Championship Team

High School: Corey  attended Norcross High School where he played basketball for Head Coach Mac.

Personal: Hometown is Miami, Florida. He is the son of the late Corey Pope, Tyrone Johnson (Stepfather), and Tammy Samuel. He has one sister Takeia Hudson and one brother Lamonte Collier.
