Jacey Coleman

2025-2026 Season: Jacey Coleman played in 27 games for the Lady Bears last season, starting 17 of them in the post position. She scored a total of 384 points through 160 field goals, recorded 259 rebounds, 19 assists, 41 blocks, and 38 steals. Jacey was named to the First Team All-LCCAC and the Defensive Team. She was also honored as the 2025-2026 Lady Bears MVP by the coaching staff. Jacey holds the record for most blocks in a single season with 41 and was second in single-season rebounds with 259, just behind J’Nyria Kelly, who had 263. 

High School: Jacey Makenzie Coleman attended St. Amant High School, where she played basketball under Head Coach Betsy Baldwin. During her time there, her Gators team became the 2021 District Champions. Jacey earned a spot on the All-District team in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, as well as on the All-State Academic team and the All-Metro team in her senior year. She graduated with honors and is a proud member of the 1,000 Point Club at St. Amant. 

Personal: Jacey is from Gonzales, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Leroy Coleman Jr. and Shantell Prestly and has two brothers, Jalen Walker and Layden Coleman. While at BRCC, she is majoring in Social Science with plans to become a psychiatrist. Her favorite athlete is LeBron James, and she supports the Dallas Wings. Jacey enjoys spaghetti as her favorite food and Jalapeño Kettle Chips as her favorite snack. Her favorite movie is "The Princess and the Frog," and her favorite TV show is "SpongeBob SquarePants." She hopes to visit Fiji one day. The person she admires most is her dad, due to his hardworking nature.
