Bio

2020-2021: An’Tiesha " Nuney" Griffin played in 19 games and started 11 last seasons for the Lady Bears as the point or the shooting guard. Nuney was a solid returning leader for Coach Lee’s team last season. She scored 132 points with 44 rebounds, 26 assist, 43 steals and 1 block. Nuney is 5^th in career games started (31),8^th in field goals attempted (370), 8^th in three pointers attempted (79), 8^th in assist (73) and 2^nd in steals (88).

2019-2020: An’Tiesha played in 22 games for the Lady Bears where she started 20 of them. Nuney scored 162 points with 77 rebounds, 47 assists and 45 steals. She was a constant leader and competitor at the point guard position for the Lady Bears.

High School: An’Tiesha "Nuney" Griffin attended Alexandria Senior High (ASH) and played basketball for Head Coach Clay Russell. She was named 2019 MVP, was named to the 5A All State Honorable Mention Team, First Team All-District 2-5A, and First teams all CENLA. She earned the scholastic award for all four years in high school. She also was a member of the track and field team.

Personal: Hometown is Alexandria, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Lekeatha Griffin and Carlos White. She has two sisters, Jasmine and Mohogany and two brothers, Carlos and Trell White. BRCC Major is Construction Management. Her favorite movie is The Fast and the Furious, and her favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy. Favorite Athlete is Dwayne Wade, and her favorite snack is honey buns. Her dream vacation is to go to Jamaica.
