Lady Bears Big Fourth Inning Leads to Sweep of LSUE
BRCC defeated LSU-E 11-1 on Tuesday thanks to a timely eight runs in a big fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Madison Diaville, Alara Taylor, and Emma McCormick, walks by Stevie Credeur and Kristyn Lormand, and a home run by Lormand.
BRCC got things started in the first inning. BRCC scored one run when Diaville doubled.
BRCC scored eight runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by BRCC was led by Lormand, Diaville, Taylor, Credeur, Lormand, and McCormick, all driving in runs in the inning.
Marley Olivier took the win for BRCC. Olivier surrendered one run on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one.
Landry Campbell took the loss for LSU-E. Campbell allowed eight hits and six runs over three innings, striking out three.
BRCC socked one home run on the day. Lormand went yard in the fourth inning.
