Bio
Josh White enters his first season as Assistant Coach for the BRCC Men's Basketball Team. Coach White is a Baton Rouge Louisiana Native.
Playing Career:
Coach White attended Christian Life Academy and played on the their men's basketball team. He was part of back to back state high school basketball chamionships 2006-2007. He was named a three time all state selection as point guard at Christian Life Academy. He was also named a two time MVP of the states Top 28 basketball tournament in his junior and senior season.
After high school, Coach White received a scholarship to continue his basketball career at the University of North Texas. He attended the university from 2007-2011. Coach White was named freshman of the year as he lead his team in scoring with 14.0 points per game. He was named to the Sunbelt All Conference Team in 2007 and 2009. He was part of the 2010 Sunbelt Conference Championship team that went to play in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Coach White finished his college career at North Texas as the fourth leading scorer in UNT Men's basketball history. He was inducteed into the North Texas Hall of Fame in 2017.
Coach White is the son of Colette Pate and Clearance White.
