Bears dominate BR Post Grad in final non conference tune up

The Baton Rouge Bears played one final tune-up game before LCCAC play begins next week. This afternoon, they faced the Baton Rouge Post Grad Academy Aces at the Bonne Sante Wellness Center, securing a decisive 111 to 59 victory.
The Bears came out strong, showcasing a consistent offensive flow and an aggressive defensive presence. They outscored the Aces 49 to 20 in the first half.
In the second half, the Bears continued to demonstrate team basketball, involving all players in their offensive strategy. While the Bears defense slacked up a bit, the Aces found more success offensively in the second half. The Bears outscored the Aces 62 to 39 in this period, solidifying their 111 to 59 victory.
Bryce Coleman led the Bears off the bench with a game-high 19 points. Six players scored in double figures for the Bears: Coleman, Kentrell Freeman, Jok Job, Dylan Dominique, Amir Abdul-Rauf, and Noah Whitehead. Every Bear player who participated scored at least 3 points in the game. The Aces were led by J. Parker with 14 points, while four of their players also reached double figures: Parker, Perkins Jr., Hardnett, and Jones.
With this victory, the Bears improved to 9-12, while the Aces fell to 1-14-1 on the season. Baton Rouge leads the all-time series against the Baton Rouge Post Grad Academy with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses.
