Bio

2023-2024 Season: Imran played in 21 games for the Bears, starting in 7 of them during the postseason. He scored a total of 57 points, with 62 rebounds, 2assists, 5 steals and 8 blocks.

High School: Imran attended Solid Rock Academy, where he played basketball under Head Coach Robert Jones.

Personal: Imran's hometown is Freetown, Sierra Leone, Africa. He is the son of Mohamed Sheku Deen and Mariatu Koroma. He has three sisters: Yasmin, Nadia, and Mariam, as well as one brother, Abdulai Bangura. At BRCC, he is majoring in General Science and hopes to work in the sonography field. His favorite athlete is Kawhi Leonard, and his favorite sports team is Petro de Luanda. He enjoys rice and cassava leaf with coconut oil as his favorite food. Imran's dream vacation is to visit Tanzania. He admires his parents for their hard work in providing a good life for him and his siblings and for instilling a strong work ethic in them.
