Bears to play Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs in Perkinston

The Bears will travel to Perkinston, Mississippi to take on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs on Tuesday February 10, 2026 

First Pitch is set for 5:00 pm at Ken " Curly" Farris Field

  • Online Tickets will cost $7 for adults and $5 for youth. At the game, the prices go up to $10 and $7.

  • The Baton Rouge Bears played a four-game series with the Jones College Bobcats on Friday February 6 and Sunday February 8, 2026. The Bears were swept by the Bobcats, 6-4, 5-3, 7-2 and 9-2 

  • The Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs played four game series with Clark State College on Thursday, February 5 and 6th in Perkinston. The Bulldogs swept Clark State, 17-5, 17-8, 4-3 and 11-1.

  • Mississippi Gulf Coast leads the overall series record with 41 wins and 19 losses. This will be the 58 meeting between these two ball clubs.  

  • These two teams first meet on March 8, 2005, when they split a doubleheader. Mississippi Gulf Coast won game one 2-1 and Baton Rouge won game two 9-8.  

  • The last meeting between the two teams was January 30, 2025, when the Bulldogs defeated the Bears 11-10 in Perkinston.
