Bears Baseball Announce Fall 2023 Schedule

Head Coach Thomas Simoneaux  begins his fifth  season at the helm of the Bears Baseball Program. He has released the Bears 2023 Fall Schedule. Coach Simoneaux's team will be tested this fall with games against a couple of in state travel ball teams, a Region 23 JUCO opponent, and two Region 14 JUCO opponents and a couple of Division I opponents. The fall season will kick off on Monday September 18, when the Bears sophomore will travel to Raymond Mississippi and Hinds Community College to take part in the Sophomore showcase.  On Sunday September 24 the Bears will face off against the LA Knight in a 16 inning contest at LSU's Alex Box stadium. The Bears only home fall game will be October 8 at 2 pm versus the Louisiana All Stars at Pete Goldsby Field. The Bears will travel up north on October 13 to take on Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Northeast Texas Communith College at ULM's Warhawk Field. On October 20, the Bears will travel to Natchitoches, Louisiana to take on Tyler Junior College and Northwestern State at Brown-Stroud Field on the campus of Northwestern State University. The fall Schedule, as of now, will conclude with a cross town trip to face the Southern University Jags at Lee Hines Field on November 3, 2023. Coach Simoneaux might add a couple more games to their fall schedule so stay tune to our social media channels for updates.

This years team is a mixture of several old faces and a lot of fresh newcomers but they all have the same mission to burn the boats. Come out and support your Bears.
