BRCC Bats Come Alive in 2nd Game of Dbl Header to Even Series with East Central

Thomas Marsala gave East central community college fits, as Marsala bagged five hits in BRCC's 14-4 victory on Saturday.  Marsala singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, doubled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

 East central community college fired up the offense in the first inning, when Mo Little doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

 BRCC took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Ethan Menard singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Marsala singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Ryan Richard singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and Cole Joyner singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

 Ian Johnson toed the rubber for BRCC. Johnson allowed six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out two.

 BRCC racked up 17 hits in the game.  Marsala, Richard, Braden McLin, and Collin Dupre all managed multiple hits for BRCC.  Marsala led BRCC with five hits in five at bats.  BRCC was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Joyner made the most plays with  seven
