Bears Rally Past SLCC
BRCC defeated St. Louis CC 7-5 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at four with BRCC batting in the bottom of the fifth when Trey Webb drew a walk, scoring one run.
St. Louis CC fired up the offense in the first inning, when Dylan Block hit a solo homer.
Connor Wilson got the start for BRCC. The southpaw surrendered four runs on four hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five.
Clay Kemp was on the hill for St. Louis CC. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out four. Zach Williams threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
BRCC totaled eight hits. Collin Dupre and Cole Joyner all managed multiple hits for BRCC. Dupre led BRCC with three hits in four at bats.
St. Louis CC totaled eight hits in the game. Tyler Prince and Josh Herget each had multiple hits for St. Louis CC.
