Baton Rouge Hits the Road

Coach Lee and the Lady Bears have begun a month long stint of road games. Beginning with last Saturday's victory at Bossier Parrish Community College (68-63), Baton Rouge will not play in front of the home crowd until mid-December. The Lady Bears have won two straight games and head into the Classic with a 3-5 record.

Baton Rouge will be in Mississippi the next two days particpating in the Southwest/Coca-Cola Classic versus Southwest Mississippi Community College and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

First up for the Lady Bears will be a rematch of last season's Region 23 Championship game. BRCC will face off tonight versus the host, Southwest Mississippi CC. Game time is set for 5:30 pm.

Tuesday afternoon, Baton Rouge will square off against Copiah-Lincoln Community College; the Lady Bears lost at Copiah-Lincoln on November 10th.

The game can be heard on the radio on WAKH 105.7FM (K106), on smart phones and tablets by downloading the k106 app and on the internet (audio and video) at southwestbearathletics.com.
