Similar to the Lady Bears earlier in the afternoon, the Bears came out to a slow start in their game versus Cy-Fair. Cy-Fair outscored BRCC 20 to 13 in the first 7 minutes of the game. With five minutes left in the first half, the Bears cut the Fighting Ducks led to 3 points, 31 to 29. The Halftime score was Bears 39 and Fighting Ducks 37. At the half, Coach Wilson motivated his team to play better and executed their game plan. In the second half, his team did just that and outscored Cy-fair 11 to 3 in the first four minutes. The bears never looked back after that first run of the second half. The Bears (4-6) defeated Cy-Fair 86 to 74. Baton Rouge out rebounded Cy-Fair 28 to 15. BRCC shot 61% from the field compared to 48% for Cy-Fair.
Keandre Randall scored 19 points for the Bears. He also has 1 assist,3 rebounds and 1 block shot
Makye Richard scored 19 points as well, with 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block and 1 assist.
